The Durham Solidarity Center is shared office, resource, and work space that seeks to support grassroots social justice efforts in the Triangle. Located in the Snow Building in downtown Durham, the Solidarity Center is entirely supported by individual monthly contributions. It is run and supported by volunteers.
In order to turn the Solidarity Center into an even better resource for the community, we are launching a fundraising campaign to meet our costs for 2012. We are asking supportive members of the community to become “sustainers’ of the Durham Solidarity Center.
Sustainers commit to support the DSC by making a monthly contribution to the center and promoting our services and resources to the community. Current sustainers give between $10 and $150 a month. As a project of Action for Community in Raleigh, a 501-c-3 nonprofit organization, contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You can become a sustainer as an individual or as part of an organization.
You can set up a monthly recurring contribution online via Network for Good. Just click “I would like to make this a recurring donation” under “Donation Preferences” in the Network for Good form! Please also put “Durham Solidarity Center” into the designation line so that we can properly process your donation.
